The snow has been piled up for days now, slowly barricading Tyler and his family in their house. At night the snowflakes drift down in a flurry of tiny dancers. Tyler likes to look out his window and watch the snow drift in and out of the street lamp’s orange tinted light. One night, a night that Tyler is in bed asleep, the snow on the ground pulses with something, something unknown and unnatural. A hand, followed by an arm, bursts from a snow drift, powdery white snow exploding from the sharp impact. A creature climbs out of the drift, it’s eyes black as coal and it’s mouth a gaping hole to nowhere. It seemingly stares into nothing before dragging it’s still forming body across the street, snowy foot prints left in it’s wake.
